Evaluation

The evaluation of  the students is objective and also continuous. This evaluation is based on four

examinations conducted through the year. The achievements of the students are recorded in both

scholastic and non scholastic areas.

Grades are awarded to non-core subjects such as Music, art and crafts, computer science and sports.

Internal assessment is based on the performance in projects, seminars, assignments and the

classroom in general. The marks obtained in the tests and  internal assessment are together

considered for declaration of the classes and also for promotion. The academic year is divided into 4

stages.

Quarterly Academic Assessments are made as follows:-
Stage 1-Assessment of the performance for  April and May.
Stage 2-Assessment of the performance for  August and September. REPORT sent for Term 1.
Stage 3-Assessment of the performance for October and November.

Stage 4-Assessment of the performance for  January and February. REPORT sent  for Term2.
